In addition to selling conveyor equipment, we also offer systems that can solve customers' problems by integrating the two together. By doing so, we will provide customers with higher value-added solutions.
The main business contents are as follows.
・ Responding to inquiries via HP or telephone
・ Listening to needs and adjusting specifications (engineers will also be present for detailed adjustments)
・ Proposing solutions that lead to productivity improvement, cost reduction, safety, etc.
・ Various coordination with the in-house development department

■ Business image: The sales department is a team of 5 people and is focused at the head office.
Currently, we are divided into teams for “clean” conveyor equipment and conveyor systems. In the future, we are expected to go beyond the boundaries of products and propose advanced solutions for the systems we offer.

For the time being, you will learn the business flow while accompanying the business negotiations of existing employees, but eventually, you will be in charge of a few major existing customers, and you are expected to build new connections.
* This activity is quite deep for existing customers. Since semiconductor manufacturers in the Honshu Region are the main players, business trips may occur once or twice a month for about one night and two days.

The Work flow

  • Approaching new customers, responding to inquiries via HP or telephone,
  • Hearing the contents of customers who request conveyor equipment, systems, etc., and examining specifications within the department
  • Proposal of a plan that can solve the customer's problem based on the contexts given

The reason I joined the company as a sales position is that I am not bound by the "sales" framework.
